eachday.net | blogatom.

I received an email from Trevor Elliott pointing me to eachday.net, “a very different approach to moblogging”. I think it’s not a revolutionary service, but it’s well designed. You can sign up for a monthly fee and then upload pictures from the Web, your mobile phone or via email. The pictures are then organized in a very pretty and cool date-based Flash interface: click on any day and you can watch a mini-slide show of that day’s pictures. I haven’t seen the publishing interface yet, so I don’t know how user-friendly it is. I think this service is perfect for non-geeky people who don’t want to have to learn Perl and Java and whatever to post pictures on the Web from their mobile phone. There’s definitely a future for this kind of application, and it should actually be included in the phone operators’ “multimedia” packages…
